Day One: Basics of Pistol Shooting- The first day of the tactical pistol shooting course lays the foundation it puts the whole team on the same page regardless of previous experience , with a focus on the essentials of pistol handling and shooting. Participants will start by familiarizing themselves with the firearm’s mechanics, safety protocols, and proper grip, stance, and sight alignment. The objective is to ensure that all attendees develop a solid baseline of pistol proficiency, emphasizing accurate and consistent shot placement. Fundamental drills and exercises will be conducted to reinforce these skills, setting the stage for more advanced tactical training.

Day Two: Pistol Access, Workspace Management, and Target Engagement. On the second day, the training intensifies, focusing on practical application and efficiency. Participants will learn how to access their pistols swiftly and manage their workspace effectively. The day’s curriculum includes drills on drawing the pistol, engaging targets, and re-holstering with precision. In addition, the critical concept of the upper thoracic cavity is introduced, illustrating its significance for effective shot placement. Trainees will practice making shots to this vital area, as well as targeting the central nervous system (CNS) "box" for incapacitation. The importance of using holster pouches and other tactical gear will also be integrated, ensuring that participants are fully prepared for high-pressure scenarios.

Day Three: Tactical Shooting and Movement.  The third day is dedicated to advanced tactical shooting techniques and operations. Trainees will explore various shooting positions and room-clearing methods to simulate real-life engagements. Addressing common pistol malfunctions and practicing tactical movement while shooting are key components of this day, enhancing each participant’s adaptability and resilience. Moreover, the course includes training in threat assessment and identification, essential for strategic decision-making in the field. The final segment involves exercises on one-entry and two-entry teams, promoting teamwork and communication for coordinated tactical operations. Throughout the three days, the course blends theoretical knowledge with practical drills, ensuring participants develop well-rounded combat skills. By the end of the training, attendees will be proficient in fundamental and advanced pistol techniques, ready to apply their knowledge confidently and effectively in diverse tactical situations.
